What is The New Fix®?

The New Fix® is an Apple product repair company. We specialize in iPhones, iPods, and iPads. We are in no way directly affiliated with Apple or any of their products.

Where is The New Fix®?

While we are centrally located in South Florida's Broward County (Plantation, FL) - we are a mobile repair company. We service all three counties (Palm Beach, Broward, an Miami-Dade).

Once you diagnose the problem with my product, am I obligated to pay for the repair?

No. If you decide that you don't want to pay for the repair, we'll send it back to you at no additional charge. If you don't want it back, we can also recycle the product for you.

What if I decline the repair?

We can either return the product to you via the shipping method you chose, or we can recycle it for you.

How long do I have to decide if I want to get my product repaired?

Once we receive your product, we'll call you to let you know the repair price. From that point, you have 30 days to make a decision. Once 30 days have passed, we deem your product abandoned and we will recycle it appropriately. Once that happens, the product is gone and we can't get it back for you.

How long is the warranty on the items you repair?

Our standard warranty is 30 days. If there is a different warranty period for a specific item, it will be listed on that product page.

How do I order?

You can submit your order via our website or if you are local give us a call at (305) 965-1909 to set up an appointment locally. It only takes a couple of minutes!

What payment methods do you accept?

You can pay with your Visa, Master Card, Discover, American Express, or cash.  You can also pay with your debit card that displays the Visa or Master Card logo via PayPal.  We do not accept check or money orders. All of our credit card payments are processed via Square and 2Checkout for website purchases.

How do I cancel my order?

Call (305) 766-9266 and speak with one of our customer service representatives. Please have your name, order number, and phone number ready.

Shipping Questions

How is a product delivered?

Orders are delivered via UPS (United Parcel Service) or through the U.S. postal services.

How long does it take to receive my order?

UPS Ground - Order before 3pm on a working day and your order with ship that day. Order after 3pm on a working day and your order with ship the following working day. Please allow 1-5 working days for delivery.

UPS Overnight - Order before 3pm on a working day and your order will ship that day and will be delivered the next working day. Order after 3pm on a working day and your order will be shipped on the following working day.

*Rural addresses might take longer. We rely on the UPS system to fulfill the delivery times.

Do I need to sign for my package?

Yes, you will need to sign for any laptop, desktop, iPad, iPhone, or iPod. We require the signature for the protection of us as well as yourself. We want to ensure you receive your product in a good standing.

*(Note: UPS or The New Fix® will not be responsible for any lost or stolen iPods, iPhones, iPads, or any other device) 

Device Questions

Which iPod Models do you repair?

We repair the iPod Touch, Classic, Shuffle, and Nano. Please check the specific model page for which generations we repair.

Do I need to back up my music and data files before sending my device to The New Fix®?

If you are able to back up your files, then you definitely should do so. The New Fix® is not responsible for lost data (including purchased media from iTunes) or files.

Do you need my passcode?

To be able to fully test the complete functionality of your product after repair, your passcode will be necessary. We suggest to either remove the passcode prior to having your device repaired to expedite the process.
